Pick a Pizza

Pizza is one of my favorite hunger busters. I never get tired of it because there are so many variations. I think all of them differently delicious! So I searched for captivating photos of pizzas in Flickr - hmmm… I wonder which one will be my next pizza?
olives

Flowerful Food

When one thinks about food, seldom do we think about edible flowers. But some flowers are not only good to look at, they are also good enough to eat. Feast your eyes on some of their pictures below.

Zucchini

Squash
Squash flowers are used in many dishes in our country. Here and here are some recipes using this flower.

yu choy
Yu Choy is used like Chinese broccoli or rapini. Recipes using this can be found here and here.

Calda de caja
Ice cream stuffed with chocolate with caramel syrup - garnished with a pretty flower, yummy!

Tea
Wind down a meal with some tea from flowers. Flowers for tea? Yup! Some of the tea bags you buy at the grocery are filled with flowers such as jasmine and chamomile.

Goin’ Bananas

Living in the tropics means we have a lot of bananas all year round. It can get pretty boring munching on it and straight out of the peel. These photos give me ideas on how to get more adventurous with my bananas.

Turon - bananas sliced lengthwise, wrapped in spring roll wrap, rolled in sugar and deep fried. Jackfruit bits are usually rolled up with the bananas for a more delicious combo. These warm wraps go well with the ice cream.
